Project objectives
The overall objective of this project is to develop a multi-stakeholder country project proposal that focuses on ICT4D (ICT for Development) research and development that is responsive to the socio-economic and environmental problems and needs of Mongolia. This proposal must be aligned with the 2006-2011 Pan Asia Networking Prospectus and the E-Mongolia National Program.
The proposal development process is to include: field trips and ground investigations; secondary documentary evidences; consultation with key stakeholder institutions (universities, government and non-government organizations) and social entrepreneurs in Mongolia; and a proposal review workshop. The final outputs of the project would consist of a draft proposal and the workshop proceedings. This Scope of Services will produce comprehensive studies, current status of Mongolia’s IT sector, supporting researches to develop country program and development of the country program proposal that would fit in given overall framework.
