Documentation of PPP cases of Mongolia

The consultative meeting on PPP was initiated by office of President of Mongolia and organized in November 2008. The main purpose of this meeting was to introduce Mongolian policy-makers and other key stakeholders to the concept of PPP and share with them international experience in applying the PPP approach in provision of basic public services and infrastructure, so that the Mongolian authorities could take an informed policy decision on the relevance and applicability of the PPP model in the Mongolian context.

Following consultative meeting, a number of initiatives were undertaken by the Government of Mongolia and one of them was establishment of the PPP Ad Hoc Parliament committee, chaired by member of Parliament R. Amarjargal.
