Mrs. Ariunaa Lkhagvasuren, CEO of Intec, has been awarded with “Recognition of Service to Australian Business”

On May 11, 2010, Mrs. Ariunaa Ariunaa, CEO of Intec Co., Ltd., has been awarded with the plague “Recognition of Service to Australian Business” by Mr. Peter Yuile, Deputy Chief Executive Office of the Australian Trade Commission during the official meeting of Mr. N. Enkhbold, Member of Parliament and President of “Mongolia-Australia Association”, with representatives of the Australian Trade Commission of the Australian Government in the Government Palace in Ulaanbaatar city, Mongolia.
Mrs. L. Ariunaa has been serving as Executive Director of “Mongolia-Australia Association” (Mozzies Association) since 2008. The mission of Mozzies Association is to contribute to the promotion of the mission of the organization to develop cooperation between 2 countries, support and assist in promoting friendly relations between citizens of two countries, especially to extend cooperation in culture and arts, sports, tourism, education sector and other sectors, and support and expand business communication. The association has more than 140 members – majority of them are Mongolian graduates of the AusAid program who now serve as Ministers, Members of Parliament, head of Agencies, Project Managers of World Bank, Asian Development Bank and other international organizations, as well as successful businessmen working in different areas contributing to the development of their country.

Investigatory conference "Theory and methodology of Information technology education"

Computer and Information Technology School of Mongolian State University of Education organized an investigatory conference “Theory and methodology of Information technology education” on April 29-30, 2010 at the lecture hall of the CITS.

Scientists, researchers, lecturers, teachers and students of educational institutions and universities and teachers of general education schools participated in this investigatory conference.

Ms. L.Ariunaa, CEO of Intec made a presentation on the findings of the survey conducted among the primary school teachers of Mongolia with comparison of ICT situations in schools at urban and rural areas. The presentation is a joint effort of staff of Intec Company and Computer and Information Technology School of MSUE, which collaborated on a project of ICT training for primary school teachers in 2009.

 
International conference Empowering rural business development through quality information and ICT –Central Asia/Mongolia

“Empowering rural business development through quality information and ICT –Central Asia/Mongolia” conference was organized by Globe international, NGO in cooperation with Paris based media NGO interviews – Europe with the financial support of the Asia Invest Program of European Commission in the framework of the project “Business Roaming” On April 27-29, 2010, at the Puma Imperial hotel.

Presenters and participants discussed during this conference following themes:

    * Rural development
    * Empower pastoral development
    * ICT and ICT for development
    * Rural SME; Herders
    * Information access

International presenters from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, China and International organizations, presenters of Governmental organization, private sector and NGO from Mongolia and guests from rural areas and Ulaanbaatar city participated in this international conference.

Ms L.Ariunaa, CEO of Intec made a presentation on the findings of the survey on “Mongolian web presence”

Ms A.Khaliunaa, researcher of Intec made a presentation on the findings of the survey conducted among Internet cafes and computer game center as means for information distribution in rural areas.

The participants asked many questions regarding these two surveys and their findings. 
 
Organization of information and communications technology training for specialist working on prevention of HIV/AIDS in Mongolia

The Contract for Services to design and conduct a three-day information communications technology training program for specialists working on HIV/AIDS prevention in Mongolia has been signed between UNESCO Asia Pacific Regional Bureau for Education Bangkok and National Committee on AIDS of Mongolia on December 14, 2009.

Following this contract for services, the National Committee on AIDS of Mongolia, signed an agreement with Intec Company to conduct information and communications technology training on March 2, 2010.

Приглашение для тематических исследований по программам, проектам и инициативам ИКТ в целях Развития в странах СНГ и русско-говорящих странах

Предисловие

Азиатско-тихоокеанский учебный центр по информационным и коммуникационным технологиям для развития при Организации Объединенных Наций (АТУЦ ИКТР), находящийся в городе Инчеон Республики Корея, работает в рамках Экономической и социальной комиссии Азии и Тихого океана (UN-APCICT/ESCAP). В июне 2008 года учебный центр инициатировал и начал осуществление флагманской учебной программы для развития человеческих ресурсов информационных и коммуникативных технологий в целях развития (ИКТР) под названием “Академия ИКТ для лидеров государственного управления” (Академия). Эта учебная программа состоит из 8 базовых модулей, являющиеся составной частью всеобъемлющей учебной программы по обучению ИКТ для развития:
Модуль 1: Связь между применением информационных и коммуникационных технологий и полноценным развитием
Модуль 2: ИКТ для политики развития, процесса и управления развитием
Модуль 3: Применение электронного правительства
Модуль 4: Тенденции развития ИКТ

Модуль 5: Управление использованием Интернета
Модуль 6: Обеспечение информационно-сетевой безопасности и неприкосновенности частной жизни
Модуль 7: Управление ИКТ-проектами в теории и на практике
Модуль 8: Варианты финансирования ИКТ в целях развития

Все 8 существующих модулей переведены на русский язык и бахаский язык Индонезии, являются доступными в печатном и файл формате, и на вебсайте www.unapcict.org/academy.
