Intec Company has been awarded with Best training – 2009

Intec Company has been awarded with the “Best training – 2009” prestigious award given by “My computer” magazine in cooperation with the Information Communications Technology Postal Agency of Mongolia, MIDAS/MONITA NGO and National Information Technology Park.

The award was given for “Organizing advanced level-up information technology training for primary school teachers of Mongolia”, a training organized by Intec in August 2009 through “Education for All – Fast Track Initiative partnership” project of Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia and Catalytic Fund.

Intec Company supports primary school teachers to upgrade their ICT skills

Intec Company has sponsored and co-organized the Contest on ICT skills among primary school teachers in partnership with the Education and Cultural Department (ECD) of Ulaanbaatar city, the capital of Mongolia, aimed at supporting and encouraging primary school teachers to use modern information technologies in their classroom teaching and preparations of teaching materials.
The contest was organized in 3 stages: at school level, at districts level, and at Ulaanbaatar level. All primary school teachers of the general educational schools of 9 districts of Ulaanbaatar city participated in this contest at their school levels, the best of whom competed at the district level to represent districts at Ulaanbaatar city contest.
On December 17, the final round of the contest was organized in the “Setgemj” school of Bayangol district of Ulaanbaatar city when 9 primary school teachers who represented each of 9 districts competed how well they have applied ICTs in their teaching methodologies and working with students of primary grades, and Ms. Lkham from Nalaih district of Ulaanbaatar city was selected as the best. The judging panel was composed of IT and primary education experts of the ECD of Ulaanbaatar city, Intec Company and the “One laptop per child” program of the Government of Mongolia.
Intec Company has expressed its commitment to support school teachers and plans to continue to cooperate with the Education and Cultural Department (ECD) of Ulaanbaatar city to implement this contest on annual basis with the possible extension for national level in 2010.

Intec Company has been nominated by School of Computers and Information Technology of Mongolian State University of Education for “ICT Best-2009” awards on a category of “Best Information and Communications Technology Training. The Intec Company has been sub-contracted by Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (MECS) of Mongolia and “Education for All – Fast Track Initiative” of Catalytic Fund to “Organize next “level-up“ training on advanced level of Information Technology for primary school teachers”.
Within this project, the 4-level training was organized for about 8,000 primary school teachers of Mongolia on ICT and training program, training manual, modules of training and CD was developed and delivered to primary school teachers.

Following brief introduction of “Academy of ICT essentials for government leaders” for staff of Information, Communications, Technology and Postal Authority (ICTPA) of Mongolia, Ms. L. Ariunaa has conducted 1 hour-lecture on the First module “ICT applications and meaningful development”, which was attended by about 14 people.

Ms. L. Ariunaa has conducted a lecture for staff of Parliament of Mongolia office on November 30, 2009 about the “Academy of ICT essentials for government leaders”. The lecture was organized at the conference hall and attended by over 20 people from office of Parliament, Cabinet Secretariat and Government Communications Department.
The lecture covered introduction to “Academy of ICT essentials for government leaders”, modules included in the academy and First module “ICT applications and meaningful development” was introduced to participants.
