Monitoring activities successfully conducted

October 17 – October 30, 2009
Monitoring over the activities implemented on “Level-up training on advanced level of information technology for primary school teachers” project of Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia and Catalytic Fund for “Education for all – fast track initiative project”.
The monitoring activities were conducted primarily by research team of TokyoTech University and Mongolian independent consultants and experts together with staff of Intec.
The monitoring activities were conducted in Bayan-Ulgii, Umnugovi, Dornod, Bayankhongor and Selenge aimags and selected soums of these aimags and the teams traveled in total about 5,000kms.

Participate in the Launch of Russian Academy of ICT essentials for government leaders

September 30, 2009 - October 7, 2009

Mrs. L. Ariunaa, CEO of Intec Company will be participating in the Launch of Russian Academy of ICT essentials for Government leaders. The launch will be held in Tajikistan from September 30-October 2, 2009 and in Kyrgyzstan from October 5-7, 2009.

Mrs. L. Ariunaa will be serving as one of the resource persons for Russian Academy in Dushanbe and Bishkek. For more information visit www.unapcict.org

 
Monitoring of project activities will be conducted from mid-October

October 17 - October 30, 2009 

The monitoring of activities of "Organizing next level-up training on advanced level of Information Technology for primary school teachers" component of the "Education for All - Fast Track Initiative" grant program of Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Catalytic Fund, which is implemented by Intec Company is going to be carried out from mid-October, 2009.

The monitoring is planned to be conducted among selected schools of soums, aimags and Ulaanbaatar districts

 
Successfully implemented 5-day 3 levels of training

Intec Company successfully completed some major activities of "Organizing next level-up training on advanced level of Information technology for primary school teachers" component "Education for All - Fast Track Initiative" grant program of Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia and Catalitic Fund as following:

1. Research among primary school teachers on their level of knowledge of ICT and needs and demands on ICT training was conducted during June 30 - July 7, 2009.

2. 5-day training program on advanced level of IT for primary school teachers was developed and approved by MOECS

3. Self-study manual was developed.

4. Training of national trainers was organized between August 3 - 7, 2009 in Ulaanbaatar and 61 methodologists of 21 aimags and 9 districts of Ulaanbaatar participated in this training.

5. Regional Training for trainers was organized between August 10-14, 2009 in 5 aimag centers (Khovd, Khentii, Bayankhongor, Orkhon and Dundgovi aimags) and 2 districts of Ulaanbaatar and 182 methodologists and teachers from 21 aimags and 9 districts of Ulaanbaatar participated in this training.

6. Training of mentors was organized between August 17-21, 2009 in 21 aimag centers and 9 districts of Ulaanbaatar and o1782 school teachers participated in this training.

 
First batch of students graduating from Aptech WorldWide Mongolia Center

The first batch of students of Aptech WorldWide Mongolia Center will be graduating today, September 16, 2009.

It has been 2 years, since Aptech WorldWide Mongolia Center started its functioning in Mongolia. Intec Company has introduced world-recognized Indian Information Technology Training center in Mongolia in January, 2007.

Since then, the Center has grown up and currently employs over 20 faculty and trains over 300 students. The center is now located at the premises of "Tushee" University and have 10 classrooms with 15+ computers each. There are ACCP and Arena Multimedia training centers now and "Item" Company has been established to manage those training centers.
