  The “White Paper on ICT Development of Mongolia – 2010” has been released from publishing company on October 1, 2010. This is a result of the initiative of Information and Communication Technology and Postal Authority (ICTPA) of Mongolia, implemented in partnership with Intec Co., Ltd and sponsorship with Mobicom Corporation.

This paper provides comprehensive information on legal policy environment and current situation of ICT sector specific areas such as telecom industry, mobile communications, internet, software, postal service, broadcasting, HRD, and ICT related organizations.

Participation of staff of Intec at Training of Trainers in Korea

Mrs. L. Ariunaa, CEO of Intec, and Ms. L. Sayanaa, Director for Business Development and External Relations of Intec, have recently returned from the business trip to Korea, where both attended the Training of Trainers workshop for the Regional project on “Improving Public Services through ICT”. This workshop was jointly organized by the Asian Development Bank, the National Information Society Agency of Korea, and the UNESCAP Center on ICT for Development on August 9-11. 

CEO Ariunaa was invited in her capacity of National consultant of the Regional project to contribute to conducting of the training which was attended by over 30 experts from governmental, non-governmental and private organizations of 6 countries, namely the Philippines, Mongolia, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and the Pacific Islands.  

Ms. Sayanaa was conferred with the certificate of Trainer which entitles her to provide trainings at local level on the Monitoring and Evaluation of e-governance within the framework of the Academy on ICT Essentials for the Government Leaders whereas Intec is a local partner of the UNESCAP Center on ICT for Development and the Information, Communications, Technology and Postal Authority of the Government of Mongolia. 

 
Organization of information and communications technology training for specialists working on prevention of HIV/AIDS in Mongolia

The Contract for Services to design and conduct a three-day information communications technology training program for specialists working on HIV/AIDS prevention in Mongolia has been signed between UNESCO Asia Pacific Regional Bureau for Education Bangkok and National Committee on AIDS of Mongolia on December 14, 2009.

Following this contract for services, the National Committee on AIDS of Mongolia, signed an agreement with Intec Company to conduct information and communications technology training on March 2, 2010. 

 Following approved training program, the information and communications technology training for specialists working on prevention of HIV/AIDS in Mongolia has been conducted between March 4-6, 2010 at Conference hall “A” of State palace. The training was organized jointly by staff of UNESCO, National Committee on AIDS of Mongolia and Intec Company.
